Historic Boat Museum Feasibility Study

Updated August 20, 2009

The Colorado River Fund has awarded the contract for the Grand Canyon Historic Boat Museum Feasibility Study project to the design team led by Pfau Long Architecture of San Francisco. Other team members include The Stibbett Group (exhibit design and interpretative planning), Page and Turnbull (historic preservation), Degenkold (structural engineering), Interface Engineering (mechanical systems and sustainability), and Davis Langdon (cost estimating).

As we congratulate the Pfau Long team, we also wish to thank the three other finalists, Weddle Gilmore/Gyroscpe, The Portico Group and Line and Space, and indeed all of the six additional firms that expressed interest in this project. We greatly appreciate everyone's willingness to participate in the selection process.

We now look forward to moving ahead with the Pfau Long team. The Grand Canyon Historic Boat Feasibility Study will take approximately six months to complete.
