THE CANYON IS OUR HOME AND BELONGS TO EVERYONE

GCROA is the non-profit trade association of the official Grand Canyon National Park concession contract holders — the river outfitters who provide professionally guided multi-day whitewater rafting trips through the canyon for the general public.

We represent our members, our guides and employees, and especially our valued guests on the issues that shape the river experience, support the highest standards of safety and stewardship, and provide the general public with an experience of a lifetime.

OF GCROA

We are a large group of professionals who are totally in love with the Grand Canyon.  Behind every GCROA member is a team of licensed river professionals — guides, boatmen, warehouse and office staff, drivers, and stewards who have made the Colorado River their life's work. We have many decades of collective experience in providing professionally guided river trips through this magnificent place dating back to the mid-1930s.
